Dining and drinks at Chimneys, Nuwara Eliya, are all about ambience. Indulge yourself at “Chequers” our dining hall on the checkered veranda, enjoy more than just your meal when you opt to dine outdoors on our open deck that overlooks the misty woods; on lazy days, choose to stay in bed all day and have us bring your favourite dishes right to you, or find a cosy nook by the fireplace to end your day with the warmth of a nightcap.
Our menus are a fascinating fusion of Sri Lankan and Western fare. Seasoned with fresh produce from our herb patch, our chefs don’t overlook the details on your plate so the taste lingers and you are left with pleasant memories of every day of your stay.
We also offer a lavish high tea, served in the library, deck or lawn, based on the traditional British Afternoon tea, with additions of our own, but we do warn our guests that unless partaken in moderation, it could spoil your dinner.
